Music Therapy of The Ozarks: REFLECTING ON SUMMER 2016!

Fall back…into Summer 2016 with us briefly! Music Therapy of the Ozarks & our wonderful volunteers had a blast at the four-day 2016 Price Cutter Charity Championship (PCCC) Golf Tournament, marshaling the 18th green skybox in August. This was our very 1st year participating & we are determined to participate again next year! Mackenzie Hughes, professional golfer from Canada (in the gray shirt), was the ultimate winner of the golf tournament…

…but, he was not the only winner during this summer event. Music Therapy of the Ozarks, along will many other local non-for-profit organizations serving kids in our area, had the opportunity to raise money to further our mission. Providing funding assistance for struggling families of children with developmental disabilities, who could benefit from music therapy services, is a huge part of OUR Mission.

Also, as one of the culminating post-events of the PCCC golf tournament, Music Therapy of the Ozarks walked & ran in the Habitat Home Run 5K race and our moment was captured here by the Springfield News-Leader.

Moving forward, Music Therapy of the Ozarks will continue to seek out opportunities to increase funding assistance for those in need and raise the community’s awareness of the power of music for all–including anyone receiving medical/mental health treatment, the elderly residing in assisted-living facilities, and children with developmental disabilities.

You can help us too! Shop Amazon Smile this holiday season and a portion of your purchases benefit Music Therapy of the Ozarks!
