Thank you for registering for the 8th Annual Rockin’ Roll Bike and Music Festival!! We are looking forward to a great day on September 13th and are excited to share it with you!

 

The event schedule and rider information are listed below. Please arrive one hour before your ride is scheduled to depart so that you have time to park and register/check-in.

 

Please come prepared to enjoy the festival before and after your ride/run. Bring a chair to lounge in, grab some sunscreen and stay to enjoy live music, great company – and a couple of ice cold beers from Springfield Brewing Company!

 

PACKET PICKUP

 

Packet pick-up will be on Friday, September 12th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Mile 6 Taproom, located at 115 E. Jackson St. in Willard MO. There will be live music and the beer will be flowing!

 

If you can’t make it, you can simply pick up your swag bag on Saturday at registration after 7:00 am.

 

You will have a bike plate or running bib in your information packet. It MUST be displayed on your bike for the duration of the ride or on your shirt for the duration of the run.

 

If you have purchased a festival-level ticket or individual lunch, you will also have a wristband in your swag bag that will be your lunch and beer ticket (2 beers per person).

8:00 am: 50 Mile Gravel and 50 Mile Road Start

 

8:30 am: 35 Mile Gravel Start

 

10:00 am: 20 Mile Road Start

11:00 am: 12 Mile and 6 Mile Road Start

12:00 to 3:00 pm: Lunch, Music and Raffle Drawings!

 

PARTICIPANT CHECK IN

Please check-in at the registration tent before the event so that we can confirm your presence for safety purposes.

PARKING

When you arrive to the venue, you will park in the Willard Middle School parking lot that is just south of the Willard trailhead. This parking lot is adjacent to the trail, so it’s easily accessible to the trail to ride. Please avoid parking at the trailhead where there are cones.

50 Mile Gravel

Route Link

Primarily Gravel Route from Willard Trail Head North to Hwy U and back.

 

50 Mile Road

Route Link

Scenic Paved Route riding north of Willard to Walnut Grove and back south to the trail. This is a challenging and hilly route!

 

35 Mile Gravel

Primarily Gravel Route from Willard Trail Head North to Little Sac River Bridge and back.

20 Mile Road

Nice paved route that will is moderately challenging.

12 Mile Road

Paved Route from Willard Trail Head South to Springfield Trail Head and back.

 

6 Mile Family Fun Route

Paved Route from Willard Trail Head South to the end of North Willard Road and back.

 

ROAD MARKINGS

​

50 Mile Paved Route = YELLOW

  • Intersections are well marked with 2 or 3 colored arrows before and after the turn.

  • If you do not see a marking, go straight.

 

50 Mile Gravel Route = GREEN

  • This route will stay on the trail all the way to HWY U, at which you will turn around and return to the Willard Trailhead.

  • While there is some pavement included in this route, it is mostly gravel and can be chunky – especially after Walnut Grove. Please come prepared for this type of terrain.

 

35 Mile Gravel Route = BLUE

  • This route will stay on the trail heading north from the Willard Trailhead, turning around at the Sac River Bridge and then returning to the Willard Trailhead.

  • While there is some pavement included in this route, it is mostly gravel and can be chunky at times – especially after Walnut Grove. Please come prepared for this type of terrain.

20 Mile Route = ORANGE

  • This route will head South on the Frisco Trail and then west looping around the airport before arriving back to the Frisco Trail.

​​

12 Mile Paved Route = PURPLE

  • This route will head south from the Willard Trailhead, stopping at the Frisco Storage Rest Stop, continuing South to the Springfield Trailhead, at which point you will turn around and head back to the Willard Trailhead.

 

6 Mile Paved Route = PINK

  • This route will head south from the Willard Trailhead, stopping at the Frisco Storage Rest Stop and then returning to the Willard Trailhead.

 

​It is highly recommended that you use the app “Ride with GPS”. If you do not have a subscription to this app, you can use it free for the first month. The app will give you turn by turn directions for the route. If you choose not to use this, simply follow the arrow markings for your route.

 

REST STOPS

At the rest stops, please enjoy and take lots of photos. Below is a list of the rest stops, times they will be open and the musical lineup for each.

SUPPORT AND GEAR (SAG)

There will be a SAG team will be posted at each rest stop to provide assistance; however, they will not be able to access all parts of the Frisco Highline Trail. You may have to walk to the nearest intersection to receive help.

 

The SAG hotline number, 660-851-4516, is printed on your bike plate, which will be provided at check-in or at packet pick-up. You will give the SAG person the number that is on your bike plate for identification purposes.

 

Bicycle Outlet and A&B Bicycle Shop will be available all day for mechanical support, both at the start of the ride and at various rest stops. Please give them some love as we are very grateful for their support!

 

•Remember to bring extra tubes, a hand pump or CO2 cartridges.

•Helmets are required to be worn during this ride for your safety!!•Please have lights on your bike to increase visibility.

•Be careful at all major street crossings and follow all traffic laws. Your safety is our utmost concern!

 

The Frisco Highline Trail – especially past Walnut Grove – is full of adventure. Watch out for hazards!

 

LUNCH

Please have your wristband on for access to the buffet. If you have paid for a festival-level ticket or individual lunch ticket, it will be located in your swag bag.

 

•Lunch will be served from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

•The dinner will be a Mexican buffet prepared by The Hive and served at the Mile 6 Taproom. There should be plenty of variety for all types of dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten free options.

Indoor and outdoor seating will be available at the Mile 6 Taproom.

​

•Wristbands are also good for 2 beers at the Mile 6 Taproom.

​
